The oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the camellia tree whose young leaves are also harvested to produce Green Tea.
The oil is light, penetrates the skin easily, does not have a strong odour and as such is the ideal carrier oil for therapeutic massage.
Camellia oil has excellent nourishing properties. It has been shown to contain anti-oxidant and therefore good restructuring skin qualities alongside Rosehip, Borage and Argan oils. It is a useful ingredient to add into all after sun products, moisturizers for damaged, dry and mature skins and healing balms.
