Angelica is a spreading perennial herb that grows freely in the English countryside and gardens. It used to be abundant on the slopes bordering the Tower of London where the neighbouging inhabitants appreciated its healing properties.
The oil has been traditionally used for its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It is also used for its tonic and carminative actions.
Psychologically, it is useful in case of mental fatigue coupled with insomnia and anxiety.
